Week Sixteen: Course Wrap Up
Welcome to the end of the course! This semester we have discussed everything from protected areas to payments for ecosystem services to debates surrounding overfishing, global hunger, geo-engineering and the proposition to reforest our way out of climate change. This week I invite you to reflect on this material. What insights does it provide into contemporary environmental issues and politics? What themes, topics, and concepts do you think will inform your thinking on environmental issues moving forward?
Your assignment for this week asks you to consider this by reflecting on issues you have engaged throughout this course. Which three issues did you find most engaging? What did they teach you about contemporary environment-resource-society debates? What debates or contemporary environmental issues do you wish we had discussed?
